As a Security Officer - Industrial Dispatch in Lake Forest, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. This is preferred.
Have experience with access control or badge systems. This is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications for the site, including phone, radio, and electronic messaging systems.
Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points through dispatch systems and reporting any irregularities.
Support regular and random patrols by coordinating patrol schedules and tracking patrol activities, helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Communicate important information and updates to Allied Universal management and site leadership in a timely and professional manner.
