About The Position

Treston Security Services is seeking a highly motivated and professional Security Center Officer, to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient overnight security operations and remote site monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with our clients. Must be willing to work graveyard. Security Operations Center officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across various properties, responding to incidents, and supporting routine operations as needed. Requirements

  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card
  • Experience with Multiple Computer Systems ( Microsoft, ApplicantStack, Smartsheets, Breeze, Etc,)
  • Ability to pass company background and drug screening
  • 1-2 years of experience in a security dispatch, scheduling, remote monitoring or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Computer Literacy: 1-2 Years Minimum
  • Scheduling/Appointment Office : 1-3 years
  • US work authorization (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • High school Diploma or Higher (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage security officer schedules based on operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to understand availability, preferences, and special requirements.
  • Communicate schedule details clearly and promptly to the security team.
  • Monitor remote work sites by using camera systems and reviewing officer reports
  • Address scheduling conflicts and work with the team to find suitable solutions.
  • Stay informed about relevant labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, time-off requests, and other relevant information.
  • Prepare reports on staffing levels, attendance, and other scheduling-related metrics.
  • Monitor access control for residents, visitors, and contractors.
  • Respond to and manage emergencies, disturbances, or incidents within the community.
  • Prepare detailed incident and shift reports, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
  • Investigate security breaches, rule violations, or resident complaints and provide recommendations to management.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
