About The Position
As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the Capitol Campus. Positioned in the Capitol Security Operations Center, you will monitor Genetec CCTV surveillance systems and various security alarm controls, acting as the first point of contact for incidents and activities. Your responsibilities will include dispatching calls for security services, conducting forensic video reviews, and coordinating with law enforcement and other security agencies. You will also manage threat levels, initiate lockdowns, and provide security support for campus events, all while adhering to strict confidentiality and safety standards.
