The Texas Behavioral Health Center is a newly completed state-funded psychiatric hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, operated by UT Southwestern Medical Center. When fully operational, it will house 292 beds for adult, child, and adolescent patients, providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered behavioral health treatment in a modern and healing environment. The center will also provide training to all behavioral health disciplines. The Security Operations Center Monitor works under general supervision to provide continuous monitoring and reporting of security-related systems within the Texas Behavioral Health Center's SOC. This includes monitoring closed-circuit television (CCTV), electronic access control alarms, duress/panic alarms, and other security system alerts. The role involves communicating observed security events to the University Police Communications Center and supporting the safety and security of forensic and civil hospital environments through accurate documentation, alert notification, and adherence to established protocols.
