About The Position

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is hiring a SOC Director that will drive the company’s SOC transformation initiative and improve its overall security posture within its Information Security Office (ISO). Ensures security operational support and initiatives drive the accomplishment of long-term strategic objectives. Serves as a leader passionate about security, cyber defense, threat and vulnerability management and continuous improvement and automation. Provides extensive leadership, mentorship and guidance to 20+ on and offshore resources and partners with the business on technical solutions to drive greater efficiency within the SOC. LOCATION This role sits at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL with flexibility to work 1-2 days from home per week. The company can provide relocation packages to Jacksonville, FL if needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Requires 7+ years of infosec experience.
Requires 3+ years of resource management experience.
Cortex XISAM, Cortex XDR and/or strong EDR/XDR experience.
Experience with employee performance reviews, issue management and resource allocation.
Experience driving a SOC transformation initiative.
Knowledge of IT Security Solutions and integration into a Security Operations Center (SOC).

Nice To Haves

CISSP or other cyber security certification(s).
Experience streamlining security operations processes.
Strong understanding of IT and security-based risk frameworks (NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK).
Strong written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to deliver succinct messaging to executives.
Ability to coordinate and influence a team of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Builds and drives 24/7 environment, system, application monitoring, support strategies, and security processes in support of business security operations.
Assesses the organization’s security posture, reports findings, makes recommendations, implements agreed recommendations, and monitors processes.
Identifies areas to drive automation for better efficiency within the SOC and the Information Security Office as a whole.
Identifies skill gaps on the team, provides thorough and regular training, mentorship and coaching for both on and offshore resources.
Implements a Security Talent strategy including recruitment, pipeline and career development plans.
Collaborates closely with the Product Security & Architecture and the Data Protection teams to address vulnerabilities and gaps identified from incidents, with particular focus on both short-term remediation and long-term solutions to address security gaps.
Performs threat management, threat hunting, identifies threat actors, and develops use cases for security monitoring.
Creates reports, dashboards, and metrics for SOC operations that reflect the organizations risk posture and presents to senior leadership.
