About The Position

Loomis is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our SOC. This position will support the SOC by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security-related events that may impact company personnel, assets, operations, and reputation. This role requires a proactive security professional capable of identifying emerging risk, supporting behavioral threat assessments, and collaborating across functions to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Nice To Haves

Over three (3) years of experience in security management or an intelligence-related law enforcement or military role.
Experience supporting Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) or Workplace Violence Prevention or Insider Threat Programs.
Experience working in a Security Operations Center, intelligence environment, investigative unit, or similar security function.
Familiarity with behavioral threat indicators and the multidisciplinary threat assessment process.
Experience utilizing Open Source and Social Media intelligence tools.
Experience with multidisciplinary security or threat management teams.
Relevant professional certifications and memberships (e.g., ASIS - CPP, ATAP - CTM, INSA, intelligence or threat management-related credentials).
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, or other related field from an accredited university, or equivalent professional work experience in lieu of a degree.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to enable the efficient functioning of the SOC operations.
Support the identification and assessment of behavioral threat indicators, insider risk behaviors, and workplace violence warning signs.
Monitor branch operations for security and safety concerns, as well as pre-recorded activity for compliance with key security functions.
Monitor route operations for security compliance.
Maintain situational awareness of global and domestic threats that may impact company personnel, facilities, or operations.
Contribute to the development and improvement of SOC procedures, incident response, and security documentation.
Demonstrate initiatives in identifying operational gaps and recommending improvements to security processes and procedures.
