About The Position

The Security Operations and Intelligence Analyst (SOIA) is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Corporate Security. The SOIA will leverage various business and government intelligence sources, internal and external assets, and open-source media to identify and help mitigate threats and loss to QTS Data Centers. The Analyst will detect, analyze, and advise on adverse conditions such as physical security which may impact employee safety, security, and operational continuity. This role will require a strong cross-functional partnership and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in corporate security and intelligence analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
  • Current security clearance or the ability to obtain clearance

Responsibilities

  • Monitors global events through designated tools, open source information, media, and agency supplied intelligence that could impact QTS Data Centers global operations
  • Supports company Insider Threat program and assists with current trends, program implementation, and best practices
  • Analyzes and assesses events to determine potential impact to QTS personnel, customers, and facilities
  • Provides routine communications (verbally and in writing) on issues that affect QTS global operations such as tailored threat reports, global incident alerts, natural disasters, and other topical threats
  • Monitors corporate security operations data for abnormalities (door alarms, badge activity, etc.) and provides reports as needed
  • Strengthens relationship and processes between QTS Corporate Security and the QTS Operations Support Center
  • Leverages government relationships for timely and sensitive information regarding worldwide threats
  • Conducts tactical analysis and research to support investigative strategies for both Asset Protection and Loss Prevention, and Insider Threat Prevention
  • Exploits data by manipulating a variety of databases, inputs, and extracts data from multiple sources
  • Assesses case developments, identifies investigative/intelligence gaps, and applies intelligence requirements to assist in the determination of appropriate investigative activity
  • Assists in planning, coordinating, and preparing operations
  • Writes and contributes to the production of tactical, raw, and finished intelligence products
  • Coordinates and maintains liaison with local, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies and IC partners
