About The Position

Sunstates Security is currently hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers in the Mount Pleasant, SC area. All shifts are available and offer a starting pay rate of $18.00/hr. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• 2+ years of security, military, and/or law enforcement experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• A professional appearance
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work alone during the night/day
• Capable of standing and/or walking for long periods of time and distance
• High School diploma or equivalent
• SLED License
