About The Position
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS / FLOATERS to work in Queens, Brooklyn & Nassau County Locations: Queens, Brooklyn & Nassau County Shifts: FLOATERS / PER-DIEM - Weekdays and Weekends (Morning, Evenings & Overnights)
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
Nice To Haves
- Military experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property
- monitoring surveillance equipment
- inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
- permitting entry.
- Reporting irregularities
- informing violators of policy and procedures
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
