About The Position

We are hiring for all shifts for a security officer position. The role involves performing security patrols, checking badges and IDs, and protecting company property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, and other threats. The security officer will ensure that unauthorized individuals do not enter the company premises and will be responsible for preventing workplace violence and intervening in such circumstances. Additionally, the officer will investigate and record accidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security-related situations. Collaboration in training efforts for newly hired officers is also part of the job, along with reporting all security-related incidents to management. The officer will handle inbound calls, receive and sign for FedEx and UPS packages, release and weigh trucks, and monitor camera footage. Other relevant duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• No criminal record
• Ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Nice To Haves

• Technical training preferred
• Military, security and/or law enforcement experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
