About The Position
Calder Casino is a vibrant and engaging workplace where the role of a Security Officer is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of both Team Calder and our guests. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for observing and reporting any suspicious activities, thereby playing a vital role in maintaining a secure environment. Your presence will not only contribute to safety but also enhance the entertainment experience for our patrons, creating memorable moments for everyone involved. In this position, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that include ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers, assisting in the transportation of money and chips, and controlling access to restricted areas. You will also be required to react promptly to incidents and accidents involving patrons and employees, monitor the flow of individuals in and out of the casino, and check for safety hazards that may pose risks to our guests and staff. Additionally, you may be responsible for answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately, as well as operating company vehicles or equipment, which necessitates a valid Driver's License. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall security operations of the casino.
