About The Position
MaxSent is currently seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team in Arlington, VA. This position is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of our facilities. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for acting as a visible deterrent to crime, identifying and reporting suspicious or dangerous activities, and ensuring the overall safety of our environment. You will perform foot patrols in various outdoor settings, monitor CCTV systems, and operate two-way radios to communicate effectively with your team. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing and maintaining various security operations reports and forms, providing guidance and directions to guests, and managing entry points while responding to security breaches or alarms during both day and evening operations. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as proficiency in phone and computer usage. A minimum of two years of security experience is required, along with an active DCJS license and a valid U.S. Driver's License. You should possess effective written and oral communication skills, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as the role involves patrolling for a complete 8-hour shift. Candidates must also be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
