Responsibilities
- Provide personal, equipment, and property security for assigned areas.
- May provide information, directions, and escort service as needed.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be able to qualify to carry firearms.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
- Must possess a current Kansas Driver's License.
- Must possess current Auto Liability Insurance in accordance with Kansas law.
- Must be able to qualify for company insurance.
- Must be able to perform the duties of a security officer, including subduing and legally detaining suspects.
- Must possess manual dexterity
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills required.
Nice-to-haves
- Prefer a minimum of two to three years experience in law enforcement, security-related armed service, institutional security program, or honorable military service.
- Prefer law enforcement, KDC, or security experience.
- Secondary Spanish language skills.
- 10-key experience.
