As a Security Officer - Retail Medical in Indiantown, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points as assigned.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations by observing site activity, reporting unusual conditions, and maintaining accurate daily logs and/or reports.
