This role requires the ability to respond to security incidents with professionalism, accuracy, and sound judgment. ⚠️ Please note: Prior security experience is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. A valid license to carry a firearm is also mandatory and must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment if not already held.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Criminal Justice degree a plus)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience required (Military or law enforcement background preferred)
- Valid license to carry a firearm is mandatory If not currently held, must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and annual re-certifications

Responsibilities
- Protect personnel, inventory, and premises in a secure facility
- Monitor and control access to the building and restricted areas
- Enforce security policies and procedures professionally and consistently
- Conduct regular patrols and security checks
- Maintain active firearm certification (must re-qualify annually)
- Complete detailed incident and shift reports
- Communicate clearly and act decisively during emergencies
- Serve as a professional and reassuring presence
