As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Olympia, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and promptly report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or local authorities during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
