Security Officer - Tech Site Patrol - Day Shifts
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Tech Site Patrol - Day Shifts in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading medical technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering welcoming customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting emergency response activities per post orders.
- Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and assist with directing people to the appropriate location.
- Complete timely incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
