As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor entrances and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone onsite. You will be visible throughout the location, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies or disturbances.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
Support emergency response activities and work collaboratively with facility staff and emergency personnel when required.
