About The Position

Your Opportunity as the Corporate Security Officer Provide top tier customer service and security to our corporate employees and guests at our campus in Orrville. Become a steward of our Corporate Security Vision and Mission while covering designated posts, monitoring alarms, and ensuring the safety of Smucker facilities. Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron) Work Arrangements: Onsite, Front Half Nights: Sunday - Tuesday 6PM - 6AM and Wednesdays 6PM - 12AM In this role you will: Operate as the back half days shift Security Officer to ensure proper surveillance of our corporate campus Apply JMS policies and procedures to security tasks and ensure the proper adherence to facility guidelines Coordinate emergency response with EMS/LE and responds to emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response Conduct patrols at designated posts inside and outside of our corporate building and other facilities on campus Be available to provide First Aid/CPR when needed Monitors alarms and video surveillance systems Document and retain incident reports What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Experience in security, EMS, military, or law enforcement Clean driving record over the past 5 years is required (no moving violations or accidents at fault) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Must be willing to work shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to obtain a Concealed Carry Weapons permit Additional skills and experiences that we think would make someone successful in this role: Experience using control/alarm monitoring and video surveillance applications Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together. Requirements
