As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Complete written reports and logs of all incidents, patrols, and observations during the shift.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
