As a full time, Security Officer at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center, you will respond to emergency situations, assist in ensuring patient and visitor safety and security, patrol service areas, including the grounds, and provide alarm monitoring and response. Our team works 3 12-hour shifts (for both days and nights), 6 - 6 with Wednesday being a half day Shifts: DAY SHIFTS: Shift A: (Sun-Wed) Sunday - Tuesday 6:00am - 6:00pm, then ½ Wednesday 6:00am - 12:00 noon Shift B: (Wed-Sat) ½ Wednesday 12:00 noon - 6:00pm, then Thursday - Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm NIGHT SHIFTS: Shift C: (Sun-Wed) Sunday - Tuesday 6:00pm - 6:00am, then ½ Wednesday 6:00pm - 12:00 midnight Shift D: (Wed-Sat) ½ Wednesday 12 midnight - 6:00am, then Thursday - Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am Physical Skills Assessment upon being made an offer - 44 running steps, 20 down-ups under 2 min done during Occ Health appt (after offer). POSITION SUMMARY This position patrols the facilities and grounds; assists with the welfare and safety of personnel and patients; investigates critical incidents; assists employees, patients and visitors; interfaces with emergency response agencies; secures doors; monitors parking and traffic control. Performs assigned security duties promptly and accurately. Works varied assignments and shifts.
