About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular driving patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service, all while embracing our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation to create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment in a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address concerns and uphold security-related standards specific to a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
