How you’ll make an impact in this role Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property through proactive monitoring and timely response to security threats. Investigate and document incidents, manage safety hazards, and ensure compliance with emergency and disaster preparedness policies, including participation in drills and simulations. Train and mentor staff on environment of care and emergency management procedures to promote campus-wide safety awareness and preparedness. Perform foot and vehicle patrols, enforce traffic and parking regulations, report safety or equipment concerns, and operate security vehicles safely and responsibly.

Requirements

Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Any State DL is accepted.
BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.
Security Guard credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred
Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) card preferred
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
