As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns quickly and clearly. You will support access control, observe for unusual activity, and assist employees, visitors, and drivers with professional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
• Support access control by checking identification and/or visitor credentials, directing foot traffic to approved entry points, and assisting with badging, sign-in logs, and other site documentation as required.
• Monitor truck and delivery activity at docks and gates, observe loading and unloading areas for irregular conditions, and document observations and/or incidents in daily activity reports.
