About The Position

We are currently hiring a weekend Residential Security Officer for a consistent schedule at a housing community in Plattsburgh, NY. This role is a great fit for someone dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently. The position includes two 8‑hour shifts each weekend, and reliable transportation is recommended due to limited public transit availability during these hours. The pay rate for this role is $18.00 per hour. Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays — 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Site Type: Residential Housing Community We help make your world a safer place. Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfort using basic technology, including CCTV systems and reporting tools.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to remain composed in emergencies or high‑pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience is helpful but not required — training provided.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular walking patrols to ensure safety and identify any unusual activity.
Monitor CCTV and report security concerns.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports clearly and accurately.
Respond to resident concerns, complaints, and disturbances professionally.
Follow site protocols and notify law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain a calm, professional presence at all times.
