Requirements

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly after incidents or routine patrols.
Remain alert to any changes in the environment and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel or management as needed.
