As a Security Officer in a Medical Center in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor facility activity and assist with access control, visitor direction, and security-related support for patient care areas while following site policies and post instructions.
  • Support healthcare location operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during alarms, medical events, or other critical situations requiring a timely response.
