As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the location and remaining highly visible. This role involves regular driving responsibilities, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors, creating a welcoming and secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies on location, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the location to help to deter prohibited activities and provide a visible presence.
Report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or students to offer assistance and information as needed within the educational environment.
Document incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
