As a Part-Time Security Officer at our Curaleaf cultivation facility, you will: Protect the facility by walking the property, checking buildings, equipment, and access points, and making sure all doors and gates are locked and secure Watch surveillance cameras and other security systems to spot any issues or unusual activity Check and maintain security equipment by doing routine tests, making small adjustments, reporting problems, and helping evaluate new tools or technology Control access by greeting and authorizing employees, visitors, and deliveries entering or leaving the facility Investigate concerns and report anything suspicious to the Security Manager or local police as needed Respond to alarms quickly and follow established procedures to keep everyone safe Complete accurate reports and keep records up to date, making sure all documentation is clear and turned in on time

Requirements

You have a valid driver’s license for the state where you are applying
You are at least 25 years old
You have previous experience in security, safety, law enforcement, or the military
You know how to stay calm, communicate clearly, and de-escalate conflicts in everyday or emergency situations
You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
You can work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

You have at least 2 years of experience in safety or security, law enforcement, or military background, along with training and certification in First Aid and CPR
You’ve been trained in non-violent communication, conflict de-escalation, and assertiveness, equipping you to handle both typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively

Responsibilities
