A Security Officer monitors and assures a safe environment for customers and employees at the Memorial Midtown Station, Denver Avenue Station and public transportation vehicles. This role involves maintaining knowledge of safe work practices, including reporting unsafe conditions. The officer is expected to know MetroLink Tulsa’s policies, procedures, and practices, maintain confidentiality of all company, customer, and personnel-related information, and actively monitor transfer stations, bays, and the security camera system. They must report any malfunctions to the Security Manager and coordinate with the Safety Director for security camera pictures. The position requires the ability to cope with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for others' rights, analyze situations quickly and objectively, understand and carry out instructions, write and speak effectively, comply with security regulations, report to work regularly, and investigate vehicular accidents involving MetroLink Tulsa vehicles.
