As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Services in Milton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic aero and defense location. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, manage access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important role in daily operations and site support.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or policy-related issues according to post instructions.
  • Support Allied Universal and site personnel by maintaining awareness of changing conditions, following client-directed procedures, and assisting with incident reporting and follow-up.
