The Security Department, under the management of a Security Director, provides direct oversight and support in campus safety, security, and emergency preparedness. Security Department personnel are familiar with contingency plans in the event of a fire, disaster, or critical event that occurs on campus. Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director of Security, or their designee, enforces hospital regulations, provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. This position requires knowledge and skill in dealing with customers ranging from infancy to death. The Security Officer may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.:
