As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational campus environment.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with campus staff, students, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns for follow-up.
- Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and/or report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support daily campus operations by assisting with directions, escort requests, incident documentation, and/or other assigned security-related duties based on location needs.
