As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will need a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify credentials and authorization for individuals entering restricted areas to help maintain proper access control.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal management as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Assist with implementing site emergency procedures and support evacuation or lockdown protocols when required.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide information and assistance related to access control and site procedures.
