About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Facility in Quincy MA Tuesday - Saturday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / DailyPay Available Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer - in Quincy, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly and professionally with those you encounter. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with team members and/or site management regarding incidents, observations, or concerns.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Complete all required reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
