Job Description As a Security Officer - Secure Entry Monitor in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, respond to requests with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges when authorized, managing visitor and delivery logs, and directing individuals to the proper areas.
  • Monitor gates, doors, and other access points using observation and available systems, reporting irregular activity and/or unauthorized access attempts to site leadership per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with supervisors and local responders as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
