Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the tech, media, and telecom location.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, while maintaining a visible presence.
- Support Allied Universal and client site operations by following all post orders and instructions specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.
