Job Description As a Security Officer – Tech Campus Patrols Unarmed in Imperial, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. Guided by our values of agility, reliability, and integrity, you will be part of a caring team dedicated to creating a secure environment for everyone on site.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment within the tech and media location.
