Requirements

At least 21 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas Security License REQUIRED
Valid driver's license required
Reliable means of transportation
Means of communication
Pass all required background and drug screenings
Customer service oriented
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees
Providing general security duties to clients
Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards
Understanding and complying with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
Participating in training and becoming familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual
Interacting with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner
Performing routine foot patrols
Moderate lifting
Working in all-weather elements
