You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm communication and strong customer service. Working with a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation, you will document observations, assist with access control as needed, and help maintain a professional environment where people come first.

Requirements

Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying authorization, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity per post orders.
Complete clear, timely reports and logs, including incident documentation and shift activity updates, using written and/or electronic reporting tools as required by the site.
