You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm communication and strong customer service. Working with a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation, you will document observations, assist with access control as needed, and help maintain a professional environment where people come first.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying authorization, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity per post orders.
  • Complete clear, timely reports and logs, including incident documentation and shift activity updates, using written and/or electronic reporting tools as required by the site.
