About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a leading technology, media, and telecom location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter potential issues.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
Support access control by verifying credentials and managing visitor entry as required by site guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Document incidents and daily activities thoroughly and accurately as required by site procedures.
