About The Position

Contributes to the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and staff by executing Corporate, Hospital and Department policies and procedures in providing security for this institution.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One (1) year of security or law enforcement experience required, preferably in a health care facility
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a State of Florida Class 'D' Unarmed Guard's License or have current Police Standards Certification
• Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a State of Florida Class D Security Officer license or have Police Standards Certification
