Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol - Full Time in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location where you will patrol unarmed across assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with a customer-first approach, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor flow, assisting with directions and reinforcing facility rules and posting requirements as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or requests for assistance.
Support emergency response actions when appropriate, including notifications, area control, and coordination with site personnel and/or public responders.
Complete security-related reports and required documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Observe and report hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or unsecured doors and access points to the appropriate site contact.
Maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and de-escalate conflicts when possible while following post orders.
Use radio and/or telephone communications to coordinate with site personnel and Allied Universal supervision regarding patrol findings, incidents, and service requests.
Follow all site-specific policies related to privacy and confidentiality while performing duties in patient care areas and public spaces.
