Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in East Dubuque, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site requirements.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other relevant activities.
Communicate professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining a visible presence.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
