What you get to do: As a Security Officer, you will serve as an integral part of the security team completing on the job trainings, operating the Dispatch and Communications Center, and responding to calls for Security to de-escalate and resolve issues involving guests, employees, and the public. You will also gain experience managing a Dispatch/Communications center and responding to disturbances in need of Security and Law Enforcement response. You will: Facilitate all park-wide communication via radio, phone, and email Monitor weather throughout the day to ensure safe operation for all rides and attractions Maintain records and logs to ensure important and timely information is accessible Monitor video camera surveillance to ensure guest safety & enforce park policy Maintain and enforce safety standards Monitor Security checkpoints and posts – inspecting all bags and persons accessing or leaving the property Complete routine patrols of the park and surrounding properties on foot and in patrol vehicles Provide guests, employees, and vendors with safe and secure environment Work independently or within in a team to provide a consistent message and security presence Respond and provide aid for Emergency situations Complete incident reports Complete assigned tasks from management as needed
