As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate clearly while documenting activity. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying authorization, directing foot traffic, and reporting suspicious activity per site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical support requests, and/or policy violations, and coordinate notifications as required.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations and/or issues to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
