As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, emergency medical technician or fire department services experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries, directions, and security-related concerns as needed.
Document and report any unusual occurrences, incidents, or security-related matters according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with local emergency services when appropriate.
