As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control to help create a secure environment. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, patients, and staff as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and daily activities as required by the site.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including following established protocols for medical or facility emergencies.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and address inquiries related to security-related matters.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through a professional presence at the front desk.
