Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston MA Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3 PM - 11 PM And Thursday, Friday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $21.35 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization as required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and/or service areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public resources when needed.
• Complete detailed written reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates promptly to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
