About The Position

The role of security is to ensure the safety of the community, property, and assess by patrolling, monitoring, and responding to incidents. Security deters potential threats, enforces rules, and acts as the first responder to emergencies.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma preferred.
  • Security must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. They must be able to document information clearly. Security must be able to speak effectively before clients or employees.
  • Security must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They must be able interpret a variety of instructions that are furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Possess skilled analytics and problem solving skills.
  • Present emotional intelligence and positive energy.
  • Eager to learn new skills as needed to perform job functions.
  • Willingness to cross-train with other departments and team members.
  • Prioritize work, be detailed-oriented, and meet deadlines.
  • Perform in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Function as an integral part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Within the first thirty days of hire, employee is required to obtain CPR Certification, complete in-person training for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training, and complete in-person training for Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation.
